Samsung – Waiting for an Outside Line to be available

If you try to make an outside call and receive a busy tone, this can mean that all outside lines are in use.

You can set your Samsung Telephone System to automatically call you when a line becomes available. This is known as a Callback.

Request a Callback

While listening to a busy tone, dial 44. You will hear a confirmation tone.

When an outside line becomes available, your extension will ring.

Lift the handset or press the speaker button.

Listen for dial tone then make your outside call as normal.

Cancel a Callback

While listening to a busy tone, dial 44

When you hear the confirmation tone, press the Hold button

Notes:

If you do not answer a callback within 30 seconds, the callback will be cancelled.
